Labor Day was first observed in Oregon in 1887. Much has changed in the workplace since then, but the value of hard- work has not. The grit and work -ethic of Americans continues to be among the defining characteristics of the United States, the land of opportunity. The working class is a national treasure and it is profound that we set aside a day to honor and celebrate them.
We here at Hyatt-Fennell want to wish each of you a meaningful day of rest as you reflect on the gift that meaningful work is in your life.
