Labor Day was first observed in Oregon in 1887. Much has changed in the workplace since then, but the value of hard-work has not. The grit and work ethic of Americans continues to be one of the defining characteristics of the United States, the land of opportunity. The working class is a national treasure and it is profound that we set aside a day to honor and celebrate them.
As we approach labor day next week, we want to hear what Labor Day means to you. How old were you when you got your first job? Do you set aside time to reflect on the holiday? Join us on social media to share.
